Big Red was bitten by a pygmy rattler last Thursday night, and I will be picking her up from the hospital shortly. She is the first person I have ever personally known to have been bitten by a rattler in my life. I am just thankful that she will be okay. As a parent, it was hard being apart from my child, knowing that my child was suffering in a hospital bed all by herself.
