The World According to "Aaarrgh!"

Happiness is a fleeting thing
It’s something that we are not to obtain
Society won’t allow it
But why should that be?
Why should society tell us we can’t be happy?

Such deep thoughts for a simple man…

I know what makes me happy
I know what brings me joy
When I am happy I am a joy
Why should I deny myself happiness, then?

Why should I be denied joy, only to deny joy to those around me?
What right does society have to tell me I shouldn’t be happy?
I don’t care what society thinks, I know what makes me happy
I want to fill my being, my soul with those things that make me happy

More than one thing makes me happy
I intend to partake in them…damn the torpedoes!
Happiness should not be a zero-sum game….
