| Arkansas State University at Mountain Home— Campus Plan Mr. Schrader worked as a subconsultant on the Arkansas State University - Mountain Home Campus Plan. The Mountain Home campus was a recent addition to the Arkansas State University system, and thus was housed in temporary quarters until a new campus could be built. Mr. Schrader's responsibilities on the project included the design of the stormwater system, design of a gravity feed sanitary sewer system, and establishing the vertical alignments of the campus roadway system. Liberty Home Improvement— Site Plan, St. Louis County, Missouri Mr. Schrader was the primary consultant for the proposed Liberty Home Improvement Site Plan. Liberty Home Improvement, a privately held home improvement company in St. Louis, was contemplating converting an existing residential property to commercial for use as offices. Mr. Schrader designed all necessary improvements, and was the owner's representative to county staff. Northfork Subdivision— utility and roadway design, Farmington, Missouri Mr. Schrader designed the water distribution, sanitary sewer, and roadway for Northfork Subdivision, a 15- lot subdivision on the north side of Farmington, Missouri. South First Street Bridge Replacements— Cabot, Arkansas This project entailed the replacement of 11 structures on South First Street. As most of South First Street is in the 100-year flood plain, environmental impact to the adjacent wetlands was of paramount importance, and thus earthwork needed to be minimized. The drainage areas feeding these structures varied from a few acres to over 10 square miles. Mr. Schrader performed all the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for these drainage areas, designed the First Street profile, and estimated costs for construction of the project. Benton School Complex Sidewalks— Preliminary Engineering, Benton, Arkansas Shannon Hills Drive Shared Path/Sidewalk—Preliminary Engineering, Shannon Hills, Arkansas Mr. Schrader represented the City of Shannon Hills in securing federal transportation funds for the construction of a shared path/sidewalk along Shannon Hills Drive. Mr. Schrader conducted the preliminary needs study, performed the preliminary design (including a pedestrian bridge and a subterranean drainage system), and estimated costs for this project. Main Street Sidewalk— Preliminary Engineering, Wrightsville, Arkansas Mr. Schrader helped represent the City of Wrightsville in securing federal transportation funds for the construction of a sidewalk along Main Street. Mr. Schrader conducted the preliminary needs study, performed the preliminary design, and estimated costs for this project. Maumelle park Bikeways— Preliminary Engineering, Maumelle, Arkansas Mr. Schrader performed the preliminary design, including vertical and horizontal layout, specification of typical section, and estimates of cost, for shared path/sidewalks in a proposed park in Maumelle, Arkansas. Eldorado Parkway/Frisco Street— Paving & Drainage Plans, Frisco, Texas Mr. Schrader served as the lead engineering on a project to design approximately 1 ¼ of urban-type concrete pavement for two interconnected streets. Frisco Street represents ½ mile of the total, with Eldorado Parkway representing the remaining ¾ mile. Due to the flat grade of the proposed facilities and the presence of substantial underground utilities, namely a 20" water main and an 18" high-pressure natural gas line, the drainage design proved to be challenging when compared to the typical roadway design. Inflow and Infiltration Study— Pacific, Missouri Mr. Schrader performed a detailed I&I study of the sanitary sewer system of the City of Pacific, Missouri, and generated a report to the city detailing possible I&I locations and offering possible solutions. The Meadows at Buckingham Site Plan, Garland, Texas Mr. Schrader designed the grading, drainage system, sanitary sewer system, and electric and water service for an assisted living center. The grading and drainage design included a detention facility with an underground conveyance system. White Residence Grading and Retaining Walls, Cedar Hill, Texas Mr. Schrader designed a comprehensive grading plan, including modular retaining walls and foundation drains. Residential Timber Bridge, St. Charles County, Missouri Mr. Schrader designed a timber bridge for a rural residence. Because the residence was also used for the storage of heavy equipment, the bridge was designed to accommodate the transporting of heavy equipment across it. Days Inn Dumas Investigation, Dumas, Texas Mr. Schrader performed an independent investigation of a potential action by the Texas State Board of Engineers against a motel owner, including a review of a previous analysis of the structure by another engineer, and presented a formal report to the Board staff. Northside Mini-Storage, Tulsa, Oklahoma Mr. Schrader and his associates designed an expansion to the Northside Mini-Storage that doubled its size. Design work included foundation, building layout, grading, and drainage. Church at 2601 E Apache Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma Mr. Schrader and his associates designed a small church at 2601 E Apache Street. The design included a cinder block church, lot layout, grading, and drainage. America's Value Inn Investigation, Tulsa, Oklahoma Mr. Schrader performed an independent investigation of the structural deficiencies of an aging motel in order to provide guidance to the owner as to how fix the problems and birng the structure back up to code. 440 W. Will Rogers Blvd., Claremore, Oklahoma Mr. Schrader designed the structural upgrades to and oversaw the renovation of the historic 1920s J.C. Penney Building in downtown Claremore. |
